Massage Therapy & Wellness
Erin (Miller) Zwack, LMT
Erin graduated from Williamsville North High School in 2003 and always knew she wanted to be in the healthcare field. Unsure of which direction to go in, she decided to go to Buffalo State College for psychology. She quickly realized this wasn't the field she wanted to be in and left to find more hands on learning. Erin landed at the New York Institute of Massage where she belonged and graduated in 2009.
Erin also went to school for esthetics and learned her passion wasn't there, it was in bodywork. She has worked in full service salons, to strictly day spas and ventured into holistic wellness and alternative medicine. Through her experience, she's found more fulfillment working out of the spa setting to focus on the therapeutic effects of massage therapy and other modalities.
Erin is certified in Reflexology through Honor & Hope Wellness Center and School of Holistic studies. She also gained a certification in Integrative Deep Tissue Therapy through self taught studies and courses from the Institute of Somatic Therapies. Her newest endeavor is the John F. Barnes, PT approach to Myofascial Release. She has attended several seminars and had many hours of hands on training. She is also a member of the Assosciated Bodywork & Massage Professionals since 2009. She is always finding wellness events to provide her services and reach out to the public.
On her free time, Erin enjoys cooking, exercising, writing, meditation and yoga. Erin and her husband, AJ, have three dogs and love being outdoors. They enjoy living an active and social lifestyle, mainting an ecofriendly approach whenever possible.
Erin finds this field of alternative healthcare to be extremely rewarding, in so many ways. She always loved helping people, so it fits perfect. She truly enjoys putting forth her energy and focus on decreasing pain and stress, increasing range of motion helping mobility and level of activity, and overall improving the quality of lives. Erin will always work to find the way to the root of the problem, not just to rid the symptoms. "It is not normal to be in pain, and no one should just have to deal with it. Reclaim your body and give it the wellness it deserves!"
